Iron Maiden announced some dates for their new upcoming tour "Somewhere back in time world tour 2008".A lot of fans are talking about what songs might they play. What songs from that era would you like to hear? And which songs you think that they will play?

I thought for a while that they might just play Live After Death in it's entirety, but now that they've named the tour after Somewhere in Time there's got to be some songs off that in the set. I think now would be a good time to finally play "Alexander the Great"... Steve Harris has always said it's the best song they never played.

I think that Alexander the great has to be in the set list at all costs..
and if they play The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner it will be a real HELL
.... lets not mention Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
Only The Good Die Young...
All the evil seems to live forever...

I'm pretty sure that "Ancient Mariner" and "Powerslave" are going to be part of the setlist, since Bruce had mentioned those songs a number of times during the 2007 tour as they hinted at the next tour. I also hope "Revelations" makes a comeback, I love that tune.

If someone ask me they MUST play Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son,Caught Somewhere In Time and Wasted Years.
In one interview Rod say that he don`t know what the boys will play. But he say that a little bit strange....with hints. So i think they will play these songs:

Aces High
Two Minutes To Midnight
The Clairvoyant
The Evil That Men Do
Revelations
Wasted Years
The Number Of The Beast
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Powerslave
Can I Play With Madness

Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
The Trooper

Okay, here's a fantasy setlist I came up with. 16 songs, seems somewhat realistic, yeah? I only went up to the Somewhere in Time album, because I'm not sure if they're going to focus on any material after that with this tour. I also didn't include a couple of old favourites like "The Trooper" or "The Number of the Beast"... not saying I don't like them, but perhaps they need a rest being played live?
Churchill's Speech/Aces High
Caught Somewhere in Time
Revelations
Prowler
23:58
Sea of Madness
Wasted Years
Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Phantom of the Opera
Heaven Can Wait
Run to the Hills
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Alexander the Great
Iron Maiden
Powerslave
