I have seen that the song is on the label written to be 3:04 minutes, the Demo from vinyl rip is 3:09 (it might have the silence from inbetween song groove), but the album version is 3:17, so this might be the thing, nevertheless, the Axe Attack can be found cheaper than the actual single.

The tricky thing is that not every Axe Attack record includes the demo version of Running free.For example,mine Axe Attack is with the album version.Bare that in mind....

Tricky indeed, but still few copies of Axe are cheaper than single and even if you don't get it thefirst time, you have 14 great songs.

But you can always ask the buyer which Running Free is there, sone state it in listing, I've seen for 5eur with explicit statement from seller that it contaisn demo. I'll get it one day, I'd got it already, if I didn't find vinyl rip, as I had to do with Judas Priest Freewheel burning 12" single, because it had intro, that was never released elsewhere, neither album, nor the latest box-set with singles on CD, such a shame, they didn't include it on this box-set...

The first 30,000 copies of Axe Attack had the demo version of Running Free. When IM discovered this the album was repressed with the correct version. That is why some versions have the demo version and some don't.
