Iron Maiden are confirmed to headline Sonisphere Italy 2011. The two day Festival will be held at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari -- Imola (BO). Maiden will headline the first night (June 25th) and Linkin Park will headline the second night (June 26th). Other bands also already confirmed for the Maiden day June 25 are Special Guests Slipknot plus Motorhead, Rob Zombie, Mastodon, Parkway Drive, Alter Bridge, The Cult and Guano Apes, with many more great bands to be added.
