The date on the back cover is quite wrong! This is a very special gig as this is, with Madrid, one of only two bootlegged gigs where 'Wrathchild' was played during this tour. Besides, both 'Where Eagles Dare' and '2 Minutes To Midnight' were played whereas normally only one of these two was played on all the other gigs.
Nicko botches the drum intro of 'Run To The Hills'. You can easily hear a fan singing along with most of the songs, but instead of being annoying, it's pretty funny! There is a split-second gap in 'Be Quick Or Be Dead'. 'From Here To Eternity' has noticeable warping. 'Wasting Love' is missing part of the beginning.

Awesome bootleg! The sound is a brilliant audience recording and is even better than some soundboard recordings that are available. It's also a really great gig with Bruce being in great shape. This is a good and energic concert from the Real Live Tour. The band is in a pretty good shape and it's a pretty cool gig. The sound quality is also very nice and it's a pleasure to listen to this bootleg. There's just one drawback: Bruce tries to impress the crowd with his voice during 'Sanctuary' and it sounds quite ugly. Seems like he has got a cold or something like that. But the other songs sound quite normal. At the beginning of 'Wasting Love' Bruce sounds quite drunk. Hmmm... (Blake)

Some stupid fan kept spitting on stage, and it got Bruce all worked up that he put up his lousiest performance ever. During 'The Number Of The Beast', Bruce bitches at some dick spitting at him and the rest of the band. During ' Prowler', Bruce quits singing in the middle of the song, and Steve fills in the vocals, only to give up on them early. Most of the song is played as an instrumental as a result, and at the end, Bruce bitches some more about the spitter that pissed him off into quitting singing the song earlier. During 'Transylvania', someone makes a guitar mistake, jumping into the bridge too early. Bruce blows the lyrics of 'The Evil That Men Do'. The beginnings of 'Run To The Hills', 'Iron Maiden', and 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' are gone.

This has to be THE worse recording of the Real Live tour EVER. The sound quality is horrible! On disc 2 the tracks aren't seperated properly as you can see above. And if that's not enough, 'Heaven Can Wait', 'Run To The Hills' and 'The Trooper' are missing! (Blake)

In the middle of 'The Clairvoyant', Bruce sees Eddie's broken neck and says, "I think Eddie needs to see a chiropractor", and "That's a very stiff neck you got there". Bruce cracks jokes in the middle of 'Heaven Can Wait'. 'Genghis Khan' is part of another concert recorded back at the Palasport of Padova on 29th October 1981 and can also be found on the Padova 10/29/81 bootleg.

An excellent performance from the band here. Bruce is in his best shape and performs an awesome show. There's something that makes this bootleg kind of special: A drum solo from Nicko! The reason for this is that there was a problem with the guitars and Bruce said to Nicko: "A good idea to fill the time with a drum solo!" This bootleg could be one of the best from this tour but unfortunatly the quality lacks big time. If you don't mind the quality then you might check this one out.
