The glory of Senjutsu begins with its remarkably detailed cover - a vision of Eddie like nothing we've seen before, courtesy of artist par excellence Mark Wilkinson. Here's how he and Steve created an Eddie unlike any other.
Steve Harris has played football for both. Well okay. The latter was a charity game but he did get to wear the famous national strip and grace the hallowed Wembley turf! Now that the European championships have kicked off in Sweden, at least half of Kerrang!, 'Arry himself, Stefan Chiraz and lot more metaller than you'd probably guess will be going football crazy and hoping that the national boys are on song...

So please; put your comfy slippers on, settle yourselves in your favourite chair by the log fire and top up your glass of finest single malt whiskey - are you sitting comfortably? Good, then I’ll begin…

Well I’ll be there in about 5 hours Chris….I’m still in….

Steve, you've called the video "12 Wasted Years", does it seem like twelve years since it began?
Steve Harris: It doesn't feel like twelve wasted years, but yeah, when I think back to how it was at the start I suppose it does seem like a long time ago. It doesn't feel like twelve years until you actually start thinking about it..
This Summer when we attended the Athens gig parto of the Somеwhere Back In Time Tour we met a lot of fans which were stunned by the fact that we traveled 1000 km just to see Maiden Live.
