Legacy Of The Beast 2022
Despite the Pandemic tour cancelation and reschedule, Iron Maiden released their 17th studio album “Senjutsu” on September 3rd 2021. This is the second time the band releases an album with still a tour on the run. Similar thing happened in 2003 with the Dance of Death album and Give me Ed… ‘Till I’m Dead Tour.
With a new album out and a tour to complete the right decision was to include 3 songs from the new album and to change the stage décor with elements from Sejutsu
The band cancelled their concerts in Kyiv and Moscow due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine in order to "ensure the safety of their fans".
With 140 shows, it was the longest tour with Bruce Dickinson on vocals since the "Somewhere on Tour" in 1986–1987. The tour started in Tallinn, Estonia in May 2018 and concluded in October 2022 in Tampa, Florida. Eventually Iron Maiden performed to over 3.5 million fans and the tour was honored with CAA & K2 Award.
The stage design and production are one of the most complex so far featuring a replica Spitfire airplane hovering on top of the band during “Aces High”. Huge Icarus statue and Bruce with Flame-throwers having fun with the crowd and props. We also saw a walking Trooper and Samuray Eddie, probably the most realistic so far… And in the end : A huge “Evil Horned Eddie” on the back of the stage durring “The Iron Maiden” song
In October 2022 was announced that Iron maiden will be touring Europe in the Summer of 2023 including arena shows in the UK & Ireland. The Future Past Tour will feature previously unperformed songs from the band’s most recent studio album, Senjutsu along with a focus on 1986’s iconic Somewhere In Time record, plus other classic cuts.

Legacy Of The Beast Tour
2018 - 2022
The Legacy of the Beast World Tour is named after the comic and mobile game released by the band in 2017. Described as a "history/hits tour", Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood has revealed that the concerts and stage design will feature “a number of different but interlocking ‘worlds’ with a setlist covering a large selection of 80s material with a handful of surprises from later albums.”
The first leg, consisting of 38 European dates in 2018, was announced on 13 November 2017. The tour is expected to extend into 2019 with international dates. American metalcore band Killswitch Engage have been announced as the supporting act for most of the European and UK shows from 26 May to 11 August. In October 2018, a headline show at Rock In Rio was announced for the following year. A full list of the 2019 tour was announced in November 2018 and features dates in U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Argentina. The band slowly revealed those countries by publishing slowly revealing images where the countries can be recognized in the stained glass windows.
In March it was announced that the 2020 Oceania, Download Festival, and The Philippines shows were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In April 2020, it was announced that Japan, Copenhell festival in Copenhagen, Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium, the show in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, Germany, Paris, Tons of Rock, and Dubai were cancelled and next - postponed to 2021. In April 2021 it was announced that whole 2021 tour was cancelled once again and most of the European shows were rescheduled for 2022.
