Iron Maiden's Saturday Aug 3 show at London's O2 Arena sold out in just 12 mins so a second show has been added on Sunday Aug 4. This will definitely be the band's last UK show this year as soon after they head off for a few selected USA shows before a massive trip around Latin America including headlining Rock in Rio and National Stadiums in Mexico, Chile and Argentina.

Bruce Dickinson announced to the 90,000 fans at DOWNLOAD Festival, Donington Park, that Maiden will round off the current 30 date European leg of their MAIDEN ENGLAND WORLD TOUR in London, with a show at the O2 Arena on Saturday 3rd August.
Iron Maiden wish to ensure that fans get fair and proper access to tickets and do not pay over the actual ticket price by way of touts or the Secondary Ticketing Agencies and therefore this concert will be totally Ticketless (Paperless) Ticketing using the latest Technology.
Ticketless (Paperless) Ticketing means fans will not receive a physical concert ticket for their entry into the event. Buying paperless helps ensure fans have secure and convenient access to event tickets at the intended original sale price. On the day of show, concert goers just need to bring the credit card they used for the ticket purchase and a government-issued photo ID to the concert. All members of the ticket purchaser's party must be present at the same time to enter the venue. The venue's ticket usher will swipe their credit card upon entry and present each person in their party with seat locator slips for quick access into the show.

Astraeus Airlines, the Gatwick, U.K.-based carrier for which IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson worked as a pilot, went out of business in November 2011 and Dickinson subsequently launched aircraft maintenance business, Cardiff Aviation Limited, which is based at the Twin Peaks Hangar at St Athan, Vale of Glamorgan in Wales, United Kingdom.
In a brand new interview with The Telegraph, Dickinson says that Cardiff Aviation is in discussions with the Civil Aviation Authority about setting up an airline.
"Subject to approvals, we'll be in the air within the next 50 days," he reveals. "Clearly that fits with the maintenance — both operations need each other."
He adds: "The next stage is rebuilding Astraeus, but with proper governance. The market is ripe for an outsourcing airline that provides extra capacity.
"We want to provide British jobs, British pilots and British-operated aircraft."
According to Dickinson, Cardiff Aviation is now employing 60 to 70 people, with salaries being paid from profits, which Dickinson is proud of.
"We have, at the moment, one full-time maintenance shift, and as we've funded it all ourselves, our costs are nailed to the floor," he says.
"We've identified what I think is a gap in the market, at a time when people are outsourcing in very narrow ways saying we need to send our aeroplanes thousands of miles away from one place to another place for different types of maintenance and painting.
"We are a one-stop shop," he says. "The first thing we did was set up a paint facility, as 70 percent of the work we get is as a result of people saying 'we need to paint an aircraft.'"

The Party is scheduled for 18.05 (Saturday), Starts: 21:00h at Metal bar The Black Lodge. As you may presume we are loaded with plenty of TROOPER pints and we will add some great music also.
The Trooper beer is deep golden ale with citric hop notes and dominating malt flavours with a subtle hint of lemon. Real depth of character with complex hop notes using a combination of Goldings, Bobec and Cascade Hops.
According to The Local, the sale of IRON MAIDEN's Trooper beer has been halted in Sweden by the country's state-run liquor store monopoly Systembolaget due to legal concerns over the skull and crossbones motif on the label.
"There has been a discussion about the label. The alcohol law stipulates how it can look. We therefore don't yet know when it can be launched," Therese Elmgren at Systembolaget told the Aftonbladet newspaper.
The label on the 4.8 percent-strength Trooper's packaging is taken from IRON MAIDEN' single "The Trooper", which was released in 1983.
In 2010, Systembolaget suspended sales of the U.S. beer Founders Breakfast Stout over concerns about the use of a child's face on the bottle's front label.
More recently, in April 2013, a brewery in Denmark was forced to change the label on its Lust beer after Systembolaget deemed the depiction of a topless women to be too sexy for Sweden.
The beer is part of a seven-part Sinner Series, from Danish brewers Amager Bryghus, with each of the sins represented by a cartoon image on different bottles.

According to The Sun, Cheshire family brewer Robinsons, where IRON MAIDEN's new beer, Trooper is being made, is having to work a six-day week to keep up with demand.
Over 100 countries have applied to stock the band's special cask ale, and Robinsons, is brewing three batches a day for the first time in its 175-year history. Over a 250,000 pints have been pre-sold in the U.K. alone ahead of the May 9 release.
Robinsons' David Bremner said: "We haven't spent a single penny on advertising. This is history in the making for brewing."
Bruce Dickinson said: "They said why don't you do a lager? I said no! We are a quintessentially British band. If you're going to start with something and do it properly, it should be an ale. We were really keen to get stuck into the brewing process and not just have our name plonked on the bottle. I was impressed with Robinsons because they didn't instantly jump all over the idea. In fact, we ended up having to audition for them."

According to BocaNewsNow.com, Justin McBrain, the 20-year-old son of IRON MAIDEN drummer Nicko McBrain, was arrested early this morning for allegedly burglarizing an occupied dwelling and 2nd degree petit theft. He is being held on $25,000 bond in the Palm Beach County Jail.
A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson tells BocaNewsNow.com that deputies responded to a West Boca home after receiving a call that McBrain forced his way inside. The female homeowner reported that McBrain knocked repeatedly and then pushed his way in when the door was opened. McBrain allegedly rifled through the woman’s purse, taking a half-eaten chocolate bunny, half of an orange — which he consumed in the home — a belly ring, cosmetics, and a freezer pack.
As previously reported, Nicko McBrain's wife Rebecca is due in court on May 3 to defend herself against allegations that she attempted to stab her husband, then threw logs at him at her Boca Raton, Florida home.

Bruce Dickinson recently spoke to the Swedish website Talarforum about his career as an entrepreneur and business motivator. But the interesting part for all of us Iron Maiden fans came in the final paragraph of the interview.
The actual interview deals with taking responsibilities when building a successful business and not to hide in a corner and let the others do the actual work. The piece is very interesting indeed, but that´s not what we´re here to talk about right now. (If you read Swedish, you´ll find it here.)
Now onto our type of business; after talking about how Bruce spent his last ten pounds on a rock concerts and a few pints, that eventually led to him getting to know the people who put him in touch with the rock scene in London and later gave him a career with Iron Maiden, the story ends with the following paragraph:

Maiden will play at the Jockey Club, Sao Paulo on September 20th and in Curitiba on September 24th. This is following the recent news that Rock In Rio sold out all 490,000 tickets within hours, of which 70,000 were for 22nd September, the final night of the Festival and the night which Maiden will headline. Very special guests at both shows will be Big 4 thrash masters Slayer, with support also from Swedish heavy rock phenomenon, Ghost.

According to BocaNewsNow.com, Rebecca McBrain — wife of IRON MAIDEN drummer Nicko McBrain — is due in court on May 3 to defend herself against allegations that she attempted to stab her husband, then threw logs at him at their Boca Raton, Florida home.
As reported earlier today, Rebecca McBrain, 50, was arrested on February 24 and charged with battery after she allegedly tried to stab her husband with a decorative lance. Although the stabbing attempt failed, Rebecca was allegedly successful in hitting Nicko with logs that had been sitting in a firepit behind the house, causing minor injuries. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and later released on bond.
She has entered a plea of "not guilty."
For the fifth consecutive year on April 21 we will celebrate The World IRON MAIDEN Day. After the premiere of the documentary FLIGHT 666 and the first celebration in 2009, the date is sacred for the fans of the British rock legends. The Bulgarian fan club will honor that day again, бут this time in Rock Bar RockIt in the company of the tribute band DREAMHUNT.
DREMHUNT is one of the best bands performing songs of IRON MAIDEN and especially for the evening they are prepared with set list including some of IRON MAIDEN's biggest hits.
