Also known as No Prayer For Paris, this is probably the best bootleg of the whole tour. During 'Die With Your Boots on', Bruce calls security on a fan and misses singing a good portion of the song; at the end of the song, he adresses the crowd in French about moshing and coming on stage.
Strangely, Nancy is mentioned as the venue on the back cover. This doesn't make sense for two reasons: first, Iron Maiden didn't play Nancy on this tour; and second, the Zenith of Nancy was actually built much later, in 1993!

The sound is good for a bootleg of this era. There is no distortion or any other serious problem, except that 'Heaven Can Wait' has a jump during the instrumental part. Also, you can hear Bruce saying that "this is the biggest tour we have done in this country" and talking about the fact that nationalities do not matter and that everybody is basically the same.

One noteworthy event happened this night - there were real problems with the lighting effects and Bruce mentions this (before Die with your Boots On)...
"If any of you people have noticed out there that the light show is a bit... less than cosmic tonight its because somethings broken down on the desk. The fella that was supposed to come up from London to fix it this afternoon..well he missed his place. Anthrax went on with everything fucked up and we didnt want to keep you hanging around for another 2 hours til midnight til we got something rigged up, so we decided you'd probably rather see us with as many coloured lights as we could get together (huge cheer) I tell you what it is really...It's all the fucking computers fault! The bloke who stands behind the desk just makes the tea!"

...Great non the less despite these technical difficulties and the fact the Ice Rink was a horrid venue! (I saw AC/DC there in the early 80's and the tiles on the roof fell in during the firing of their cannons! ;-) Happy days!) Plus my tape came out really good considering the technology I used!

Incomplete show. While this bootleg is commonly traded as 18th December, it is actually a combination of both nights in Wembley. 'The Clairvoyant' and '2 Minutes To Midnight' are unmistakably from the 17th December show.
The very last track is an extended version of the original instrumental (which incidentally has a great jazzy style pretty remote from Iron Maiden's) from Nicko's Rhythm Of The Beast 7" picture disc, featuring Dave Murray on the guitar and various other musicians; its original source is unknown because the extended version was never officially released.

Bubba420 got this show directly from the guy that transferred his unknown generation audio cassette to CD-R for him. This version is more complete than the two other versions of this show that are already available. This includes 'Run To The Hills' and most of 'Sanctuary'. 'Sanctuary' cuts at 3:42. This version sounds better than the other audience source but it doesn't sound quite as good as the DVD-rip of this. Tracks 10-13 on disc 1 suffer from old cassette problems it seems, but the sound improves shortly after track 13 starts.

Don't be confused at first when Bruce says the name "Tokyo" right before 'Die With Your Boots On'. He mentions often that they play at "Sonic City Hall" and also he says the standard sentence "Scream for me Omiya" right before '2 Minutes To Midnight'. Very good bootleg this one! The band is in a good mood and especially Bruce says some funny things. The sound quality is an audience recording with best possible quality. The special thing about this bootleg is the setlist. It's quite different to "normal" No Prayer On The Road gigs ('The Prisoner' and 'The Evil That Men Do' instead of 'The Assassin' and 'Hooks In You'). Highly recommended!
