There is a mistake on the back cover as 'Sea Of Madness' was not played at this show, but was replaced by 'Wrathchild'. This is the last night of the Somewhere In Time tour and the band has been celebrating by drinking a lot of sake. This really comes across when Bruce is talking (mumbling?) between songs! Bruce mentions that it's Adrian's birthday before 'Wasted Years' is played. The date for this show is often mistakenly put as the 28th because concert shirts list the gig on that date. The band originally intended to play El Paso on the 28th, but changed it to the 27th before tickets were sold. The correct date can be seen on the Japan Somewhere on Tour programme. Quality: 7 / 10 |

Taken from a double-LP. The sound is great if you can get past the pops and crackles associated with an LP. A minor flaw exists on 'Heaven Can Wait' when the sound drops and the recording sounds like it gets "fast-forwarded", but it comes back and is fine for the rest of the disc. Quality: 7,5 / 10 |

Although the back cover states that this is the concert recorded on 22nd November at the Eilenriedhalle of Hannover, Germany, it is in fact an edited version of the 8th October show in Bristol, England. Bruce even mentions being in Bristol several times. The full concert can be found on the When It's Time To Rock bootleg above Quality: 8,5 / 10 |

Complete show. This is a vinyl-sourced bootleg, not bad quality for that, but there is occasional vinyl noise. It's overall a very good recording, one of the best of the 1986 tour Quality: 8,5 / 10 |

This one is something really special. It's the very first gig of the Somewhere On Tour! The sound is an above average audience recording. Everything is clear to understand and there's no hiss (which makes this a bit rare especially when it comes to bootlegs from this era). The sound is just a bit distant. Apart from that it's great show and a nice listen. And the real special thing about this is the inclusion of 'The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner'. The song was dropped after a few gigs and was then replaced by 'Sea Of Madness' and when 'Sea Of Madness' came in this setlist Maiden replaced it later with 'Where Eagles Dare'. These facts make this one a must have! Quality: 7 / 10 |
